Last Monday I received some awful news. My client had choked on some food and was placed in a medically induced coma for fear of brain damage. He had been unconscious for a while and it was done as a precaution. Thankfully when I checked in with his wife the following day, he was our of intensive care and in a regular room.
He also did not suffer from any brain damage. According to his wife, he awakened and asked her what happened? She told him she didn't think he was coming back and started planning for a funeral! Fortunately through many prayers and good medical care, he is on the mend. He is doing rehab. at Liberty Commons in Chatham where the care is excellent! I'm truly glad this story has a happy ending and I will be visiting him soon!
